He also created the Data Science in Residence Program (DSIR) at The General to identify emerging analytical talent in the organization and couple them with mentors that naturally bridge the gap between BI analytics and Data Science. He has been a great mentor to me and his ability to teach others complex concepts is extremely rare outside of academia.
